Music City Center starts expansion process to meet rising demand

Downtown's Music City Center has started the expansion process after soaring convention demand.

The Convention Center Authority issued a request for proposal for an expansion feasibility study several weeks ago and hopes to select a vendor by the end of summer, at the latest. It was close to starting the process in March 2020, but the pandemic made the group hit the pause button.
