Primarily under the direction of the Director of Events, this position will be responsible for various duties involved in the coordination and production of small, local and/or short-term business including meetings, banquets, special events, and public functions. This position will also be responsible for becoming familiar with functionality of a large Convention Center by providing hands on experience in the various operating departments.
High School Diploma or GED required with enrollment in a two (2) to four (4) year program of study in Hospitality or Hospitality management.
This is a position of the Convention Center Authority; not a Metropolitan Government position. Salary is $12.00/hr without benefits and is seasonal.
