CONVENTION CENTER AUTHORITY MEMBERS TO SERVE ANOTHER TERM

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Metro Council has confirmed the reappointments of Randy Goodman, Vonda McDaniel and Willie McDonald for another four-year term with the Convention Center Authority. Goodman, McDaniel and McDonald's reappointments were proposed by Mayor Megan Barry and approved by Metro Council Tuesday evening.

"We feel so lucky to have leaders in our community that are willing to serve on the board and help us grow the convention business in downtown Nashville," said Charles Starks, President/CEO of the Music City Center. "I am so thankful that Randy, Vonda and Willie are willing to serve another term. Their expertise and insight is incredibly valuable to us and we are excited to have them on board for the next four years."

About the Music City Center

The Music City Center, Nashville’s convention center, features a 353,143 square foot exhibit hall, the 57,500 square foot Karl F. Dean Grand Ballroom, and an 18,000 square foot Davidson Ballroom.
